White is still the one most people ask for. Beige and brown tones exist depending on the line you choose. Samples come to your property, because a colour cannot be judged on a screen.

This is the real reason a fence starts to lean. A post set too shallow lifts with the frost every winter and never settles all the way back. We do not cut that corner, whatever the material.

Why there is no price on this page

A PVC fence comes down to three things first: the length you need to cover, the panel line you pick, and the number of gates. A gate costs more than a straight section of the same width, because it needs reinforced posts and hardware.

The property matters too. A slope means the sections have to be stepped. Rocky ground slows the post holes down. A narrow side yard changes how the material gets to the back. None of that can be guessed over the phone.

What it does not cover

Impact damage, exceptional storms, and changes made by someone else. We say that up front and it is written into the quote, not buried in small print at the bottom of a page.

Does PVC go yellow or turn brittle in our winters?

Fence grade PVC is made with UV protection, and the colour runs through the material instead of sitting on the surface. That is what prevents the yellowing people remember from older vinyl. Like any plastic it stiffens in deep cold, so a hard impact in the middle of winter can mark a panel. In normal use a properly installed PVC fence goes through our winters with no stain, no paint, and no boards to replace. If a panel ever does get damaged, it is swapped on its own without touching the rest of the line.

Does PVC end up costing more than wood?

On the day it goes in, yes, PVC costs more than pressure treated wood. Over the life of the fence you are comparing something else. Wood needs stain every few years, plus the boards that cup or split. PVC needs neither. Where the two lines cross depends on how long your fence is and how long you plan to stay in the house. During the visit we can price both options side by side for your property, so you decide with real numbers instead of an impression.

Do I need a permit for a PVC fence?

Can PVC be used around a pool?

How much upkeep does it really need?

Rinse it with a garden hose when the pollen and the road grit come off in the spring. That is the whole routine. There is no sanding, no staining, no sealing and no painting. If you want the panels brighter after a wet season, mild soap and a soft brush handle it. Nothing about a PVC fence needs a weekend.
