Verify ↗Ornamental aluminum fence installation in Gatineau and Ottawa
It does not rust. It keeps its finish for decades. Looking after it means running a hose over it.
Why homeowners switch
The front fence is the one everybody sees
A front fence is on display every day. It is usually the first thing a visitor notices, and the first thing that starts to show the age of the house. Wood turns grey and asks for stain every few years. Ornamental iron rusts at the welds and at the foot of the pickets, where road salt collects, and the paint blisters before you see it coming. Aluminum does neither. There is no iron in it, so there is nothing to rust. The finish is a powder baked on at the factory, not a paint rolled on in your driveway, so it holds its colour for decades.
Two jobs come up most often. Someone who is done scraping and repainting an old iron fence. And someone fencing a front yard or a pool, where the fence has to look like it belongs to the house.
What you get
What actually goes in the ground
It is all written in the quote, line by line. You know the range, the height, the number of posts and the number of gates before anything starts.
Extruded aluminum, baked finish
Posts, rails and pickets in extruded aluminum. The finish is a powder baked on at the factory. Matte black covers most projects. Brown and white are available depending on the range you choose.
Heights, styles and picket spacing
Flat top, pickets that run past the top rail, or decorative points. Panels come in several heights. Spacing can be tightened for a pool enclosure or for a small dog. On a slope the panels rake with the ground instead of stepping down, which leaves less gap underneath.
By-laws confirmed before we order
Fence by-laws differ between Quebec and Ontario, and between municipalities. We confirm the rules that apply to your address before we start. That happens before material is ordered, not after.
Gates and hardware
Single gate, double gate, or an opening wide enough for a vehicle. Adjustable hinges, a latch, a keyed lock if you want one. Self closing and self latching hardware is available for a pool enclosure.
Posts set below the frost line
This is the real reason a fence leans after two or three winters. A post that does not go deep enough gets pushed up by the frost, and it never settles all the way back. We dig below the frost line and set the post in concrete. That is not the line we cut to win a job.
What is included
The site visit and the measurement, underground locates before we dig, the full installation, cleanup of offcuts, and the 5 year warranty handed to you in writing with the quote.
The price
What moves the number, with no invented figure
We do not post a price per linear foot, because it would not tell you anything. Two yards on the same street give two different prices. Here is what actually counts.
- Length and cornersThe number of linear feet, and the number of corners. Every corner adds a post and an alignment.
- Range and heightThe wall thickness of the profiles and the height of the panels change the cost. A pool enclosure has its own requirements.
- Number of gatesA gate costs more than the same length of panel. The hardware and the adjustment decide whether it still closes properly in five years.
- The groundA slope, rocky soil or a narrow side access all add digging and handling time.
The visit is free and the quote is written. We measure on site, note the gates, the slope and the access, then you get a firm itemized price. No range over the phone, and no number that moves once the holes are dug.
Warranty and payment
What is covered, and how to pay for it
5 year warranty on the installation
In writing. It covers the installation itself: the posts, the alignment, the hardware and the workmanship. It does not cover impact damage, exceptional storms, or changes made by someone else. All of that is in the quote, not in fine print.
Financing available
An aluminum fence lasts for decades. You do not have to pay for it all at once. Ask us for the terms during the visit, before you sign anything.
In business since 2018, in English and in French
The whole crew is bilingual, on both sides of the river. You are served in your language, from the quote to the last gate adjustment. Rated ★★★★★ on Google and on Facebook. Consumer Choice Award 2026 winner for the Gatineau region.
